It works fine on the second reinstall. The same thing happened back when I upgraded from Vista to 7 and from 8 to 8.1. I'm also fed up with Symantec. It's an excellent anti-virus, but Norton makes every upgrade much more difficult. Although I expected it to not work on the first install based on past experience, it was really annoying to be right. How have they not fixed these recurring glitches?
