SmashingTool - not that I know of, and I suspect it would be tricky to implement such a PI.
If you highlight a book in a particular series and press Alt/Shift/S that will do a search for books in that series - you might need to
change calibre's search highlighting (
← click)
And of course you can select series from the "Tag Browser" - left sidebar.
