Maybe I have made too much about the Reset Hole being covered, if it is so easy to get the device out of the cover. I haven't actually tried...
Any hints on how to do it without risking the device? I have noted what others have suggested, but am interested in other people's experience.

PeterT responded. Someone I think in this thread suggested pulling the device out of the cover then operating on the cover with a dremel tool to carve away enough plastic to expose the reset hole.
