It was a coolish day (it only got to 26C, and it was about 24C at dinnertime), plus we had the air conditioning on.

Right now, I am enjoying the sounds of relative silence, as my sister and co. have just left. I'm looking forward to an empty-housed Christmas (empty at least until Christmas night, when a friend from Sydney arrives). I think we' might be going down to the beach for a swim shortly.
