That sort of behavior might actually need to be researched

In my case, I have a similar weird behavior. I can't stop re-reading Lord of the Rings; but it comes down to the fact that I actually want to read more about Middle-Earth.

Thus, I have bought everything about Middle-Earth in paper, although I already have all the e-books. (Of The History of Middle-Earth, only book 1 and 2 are available as e-book; the rest is paper only.) These are actually the only paper books I will own right now.

In some time, I'll be re-reading all of it. Again; of which only the Histories, and Unfinished Tales will be new.
