How does the "configure" option work? I tried adding something in the [geometry] section, but there was nothing to add.

You would add those "key=value" pairs that you would like to choose from in .adds\confoptions\ksm_ini_options.txt under [geometry]. Have a look at the other sections. The [geometry] section is the only one I did not provide any example entries. For some general informatin on the configure option, cf.
this post.

Right, usersettings.txt is not any longer recreated, since this file has been replaced by ksm_ini (with update 2). ksm_ini should only be edited with the help of the (home) "configure" function.

You can. It is a little hidden: (home) tools > activate > set runmenu settings.msh > alternate_nickel (there is no response that would confirm that the value has been accepted, you will only note the change after restarting the device.)

I do not know the cause of this. I just tried inserting an sd in my Touch (FW 3.15.0), and it was recognized immediately by nickel.

If you would like to try again, see post #208 on how to reactivate KSM.
