I wouldn't hold my breath on Amazon going up to 6.8". They've had quite some time to do so and haven't. I'm not sure about the rest of the world, but in the US Amazon's next biggest competition is Barnes and Noble, and while the Nook Glowlight isn't a bad device, the Voyage already has a higher quality screen, and B&N doesn't seem interested in releasing another eink device any time soon.

Why spend money improving your product, when your competition has apparently given up.
