My brother got up at 4:00 AM, it was -2 C. He madly hauled in the plants into the garage, and turned in the grow lights. It's -3 C outside right now and dropping. High today expected to be +1 C down from +5 C.

It'll take at least 24 hrs, to get a full feel for the damage. The Oranges are probably OK, as they can take a short burst down to -2 to -3. Might lose the fruit. No bets on the Hibiscii or the plumeria....
Arghhhh, noooo! Where is that Texas? Somewhere between Sibiria and the Kalahari??
I had a frost damaged hibiscus last year. I wouldīn trim it now, but mulch, mulch, mulch, and trim in spring. Iīm not a real expert though.

Itīs 1:48 pm, high time for lunch. 4 C outside and the sunīs shining
