Right. I am Chrome fan! In the particular application situation of writing a post the MR BBCode list seems to me (much) more suitable, however.
To respond further to that Chrome provided thing would remove us from the original topic of this thread, therefore I renounce. It would also be only a specific Chrome user matter.

To show all (BBCode list and explanations) expands the matter, so I thought. Each of us has anyway 'specific preferences' in the use. It's all about the quick access to the correct (boilerplate) code. E.g. me it was important code for 'Striket̶h̶r̶o̶u̶g̶h̶'.
The list should be modified including a concession to the comfort-seekers among us. This means the code should be written in full. Thus instead of [strike].

In order to accommodate those with request for explanations we would have to ask our dear MR system specialists for a special sweet. A double fold-out thing: First only just pure code, expandable by unfolding the explanations.

Please note that I do not represent anymore my original interest here: The strikethrough code is already firmly engraved in my head for the next hundred years.

On the other hand there is still lot of space on the existing MR toolbar. Align Right and Align Center buttons are unnecessary. Former I've never seen in 1000 posts in use, the latter belongs more to a poetry department. Consequently Align Left could be eliminated as the default setting.
