Frankly, until it people start using it in the real world, we won't know. I will say this. The Apple Watch isn't a replacement for the iPhone. I suspect that most people will not be listening to 6.5 hours of music on it, but rather will be listening to 6.5 hours of music on their iPhone. It seems to be designed to be used for a series of short transactions rather than continuous use.
