I did already try that generic TWRP and when I did "adb reboot recovery" the reader just rebooted normally, that recovery does not even boot also about the MHL cable it's not really expensive, at least not in my country, I bought one for what would be about 2$ that's why I was thinking that's a good idea, plus I think there might be others that already have MHL cables, the bad thing is I don't think this device has MHL support because at least for me it does not work.
