I'd be more worried about them mistaking it for the real thing. It's one of the reasons that "brandishing" is a crime. If you're armed, by law, you have to behave responsibly. (Yes, obviously, I'm talking about armed normal people, not criminals or thugs, who think that brandishing is "cool.") You can't just pull a weapon and faux-aim at someone, to scare them. Although many people don't believe this, armed folks are
really the most polite in the world.
