Mine was being super bratty. He tore the living room looking for something and would not tell me what was it was until he came to my side and started going to do that to my stuff. That when I pushed him away and told him to back off. Finally after he looks like he was about throw himself on the floor kicking and screaming and the living room looked like a tornado went through it he told me he was looking for his vitamins. I calmly walked over to mess all over the floor picked them up and quietly handed them to him then went back to my sofa.
So after he would not accept help with cookies although I threw a few suggestions like make sure you refrigerate the dough for an hour or more depending on how stiff you want it or the icing isn't sticking because the cookies need to cool first. I asked him while baking. Why do I smell pie crust? Now I have alot to clean today.
Picking fights with me never work. I come from a very angry abusive family who screamed and hit and busted things so I got nerves of steel when it comes to childish bratty behavior like his. I think that drives him nuts.
In reality I am his dad the calm adult one and he is totally his mom throwing hissy fits at the stupidest things. I like being dad. He is one of my heroes.
