It's nice to see this so well spelled out, and I believe it's what made me back off of the series, even though I'm often tempted to go back to it. I don't read a lot of "regular" fantasy (whatever that really is). I find all the politics boring (not a fan of Game of Thrones, either).

Sigh....but I miss the people and the world I grew attached to...so something I think I should give it a try again.
