Usual crappy paranormal romance, YA vampire shite with under 100 reviews on Goodreads. I loath those. No epic, no urban, no dark, no sword and sorcery type of fantasy books.

I don't get your joke with teddy bears at all, but I'm happy you found so many for yourself Not teddy bears. Books.

I just wish I could say the same, but alas they always give "wrong" kind of fantasy books in these deals for me.
Oh, sorry, just saw this and didn't realize you had already perused the entire list.

They do have Joe Nassise in some of the sales although not this one--you MIGHT like it. It is UF, but it's noir. The first is free so that makes it easy to test. http://store.kobobooks.com/en-US/ebook/the-heretic His other stuff is epic and is usually too dark for me. I do read dark here and there, but not often.

Also in darker UF (Can't remember if there are vamps. Maybe, but they are not nice guys if so) is The Man Who Crossed Worlds by Chris Strange. Coupons work with his stuff. I thought it was a very good read if on the dark side for me. Coupons work. There's a second one out too. I own it but haven't read it yet.

I also liked http://store.kobobooks.com/en-US/ebo...glass-monsters Stained Glass Monsters, but I think it will be too light for you. It's epic fantasy, but it's just the one book so far as I have seen and you might find the ending a bit too happy/pat. I enjoyed it thoroughly, of course, but you might find it lightweight.
