I wonder why this is. Is it Amazon, the publishers, authors, ... ? Wasn't Kindle support delayed for Overdrive, maybe Axis360 will get Kindle support eventually?

At least with EPub available, you can strip and format shift to get it on your Kindle (ducks and heads for cover).
