Remember way back in this thread when I marveled that I could read epubs in the Amazon app on the Fire? I just figured it out. I didn't have my CC settings right. So if I had mobi or azw3 files in Calibre, it was sending them, and that's why they were showing up in the Amazon app.
Good news for people that want to use Calibre and CC to send those types of files to your Fire and read with the Amazon app!
I, however, am still trying to fix my settings to prevent this.
