I never thought of that, but thought I'd give it a shot. I just talked to them, and I got my dates wrong. I got this current PW2 on Oct 17 2013 and the only thing they could offer me is a replacement for $78, so, no thanks.

I have been a bit disappointed with Kindle CS this year. I feel like in past years, they had a real interest in people liking the devices they got. This year, they could care less.

What's worse is that I now had a second Kindle representative tell me that having a yellow top and blue bottom is by design and not a fault. I made her repeat it, too. The nerve, at $200! Why don't they post this in the product description, then?

I usually love Amazon to death, but this entire experience has left a bad taste in my mouth, and it is making me reconsider giving them all my money - literaly everything I purchase is from Amazon.
