Well, I went ahead and ordered a Kindle Fire 6 16gb. It won't ship until Dec. 4 which is close enough to Christmas! When I placed the order, I had a "Pay over time" option that had me pay only 20% down. I had reward points from my visa that actually took care of the down payment. Yay me..

I think I made the right choice. I just couldn't see myself paying $200 for the Voyage when the Fire is so cheap. Now, I get to go crazy waiting.

If you use your Fire for mostly reading, what kind of battery life should I get?
