Then what you need is a different case. Not all cases feel the same. So find a case that you think might feel better.

If you have a naked Reader and you drop it, you have more chance of damage then you do in a case. Plus, if you have a sleeve, you have to unzip the sleep, get the Reader out of the sleeve, put the sleeve away, and then you can read. Then when you are done reading, you have to get out the sleeve, put the Reader in the sleeve, zip the sleeve and then put it away. Try doing this on busy transportation. Not a good idea. A case, take out the Reader, open the case, read. Done reading, close the cover, put the Reader away. Done.

Also, if you are on say public transport and you get bumped, the read can go flying out of your hands and without a case, more chance of damage.

Think of a case like a seat belt. Some people just have to get used to using one. Use it often enough and you do get used to it like it or not when you first use such.
