I rang Argos Customer Service and tried to get the same assurance, unfortunately in my case they told me while it didn't appear to be an excluded item if the packaging showed any signs of having been opened it would not be able to be returned. Was your H20 in any kind of sealed wrapper? Could you have got it out, checked it and got it back in the box without them knowing?
£140 is just too much money to take a chance with.
