No, not really. You say "not equitable" but it's clear that you mean "not what I want." They ARE the same class: High-end dedicated ereaders, and comparing them is quite proper. The features you list are not an inequity on either side, they are differentiators.

On the matter of screen size, were 5" readers ever significant less expensive than 6" readers? And 5 to 6 is a bigger percentage jump than 6 to 6.8.
