The codes will only work on books that are discount eligibile - that is - where the publishers allow discounts.

At least one of the codes worked in the UK store as well where the books I wanted where discountable (they weren't in the US or Canada) so they might all work.
Can't use them in Germany, though - the books would be discountable there. Good that I traveled today.
