Sorry for delayed reply everyone. I am quite sure it has reached the final update and there is nothing to update it with. Safari dies too often to endure the hassle.

I cannot install Chrome, it won't let me, I already tried. Says ios is too low to allow it.
But if I reset it to factory defaults will I lose all my bookmarks or are they backed up in the cloud while syncing? That's why I didn't do it yet. I tried other browsers, still crashes. Now with apps updated if I load them again after reset they may not work at all anymore. R.I.P I think.

Touchscreen goes crazy. Sometimes the whole image shakes about, buttons lit up like possessed, keyboard when typing puts letters on its own. Links and pictures I was far from touching suddenly load. There are days when I have to restart it at least once a day. This short answer I had to correct in 3 places. Drives me nuts.
