Reading Markismus' and tshering's comments I thought one solution would be to install the 4a update to Start Menu (didn't work for me) or have the scripts incorporated in KOreader...see:

What am I misreading guys? I almost think this is the last issue I have with KOreader....would love to find a solution (a lazy one I mean...like close cover
).
