The contest did help, and I took a long, hard look at the ones I had in my to-buy-list and pushed most of them to a to-buy-later list. LOL However, I only bought 7, so do I get a cookie or something?

Oh, agreed. I can't totally give up trying new authors, but I'm being WAY more selective than I used to be. I'm not just hitting buy when the price drops, and I'm waiting for a ton of reviews and also previewing the book first. This has saved me a lot in the past few months.

I moved Fall From India Place to my buy-later list, but I may just buy it with 1 code I have saved for a couple of new releases on Tuesday. One of the 7 I just bought was the new Jay Crownover book and that's next on my reading list.
And isn't that strange, you mentioned K.A. Tucker , that is 1 author I just last week put on my wishlist! Now that you've recommended it I will have to move it up from low to medium priority.
See, proof right there I'll never have enough room in my to-buy list!

I just hope I didn't get it mixed up with another MMA book. I went through a phase and read a bunch of MMA books in a row. I definitely did rate this one a 4, but I don't remember the exact story.
