I've been trying to curb my new authors purchases as well, and the disappointing contest this time has helped a lot. LOL. I'm planning to only buy the books that I really want, but even so it's still more than 10 books.
I'll probably try out new authors if the overall reviews are not bad, or if some of you here highly recommend it.
By the way, have you gotten your copy of Fall From India Place? I've just got mine this morning. But I haven't decided when to read it yet.
There's another rather pricey book coming out next week that I really want as well (K.A. Tucker's Five Ways To Fall); hopefully the code will still be valid by then.
