ADE 2 is not unstable. Wine is the issue here. It's not Adobe's fault you don't have Windows to boot to. It's your choice not to use Windows so it's your decision that ADE 2 won't run on your computer. As for ADE 2 being unstable, it's very stable on Windows 7 32 and 64-bit as well as Windows 8.1 64-bit and Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit.
