I go back and forth on using the (overdrive) library. I usually run into the problem where a book isn't available when I want to read it, then when I get my turn I'm not really in the mood for it. I definitely understand where you are coming from with that!
I'm also hesitant because I have such a backlog of reading material that I promised myself I wouldn't buy another book until I finished any one book first.
Although, it seems silly to pass up a really good deal for a series I like for that reason.
