Both, actually, I now have three printers and two scanners hooked up, and I ran out of desk space. Also, I am thinking of getting another printer, which would mean I would be out of desk space and then some.
So, I built a rolling table with two lower shelves so that I can put one of the scanners and one of the printers on it (and some extra paper on the bottom shelf). It has to roll because the office has a pair of double doors on one wall that I seldom (if ever) use. However, use them or not, I didn't want to block them with something I couldn't easily move out of the way. So, the table is on rollers.
I'm also going to be building a few other pieces for the office, including a set of three bookshelves (even now that my recreational reading and most of my work reading is digital .... I am still running out of book space).
