Helen, the top Ortho surgeon in the Kingdom, (trained in the US, with surgical privileges in several major US hospitals,) the only one permitted to attend the Royal Family, diagnosed my back problems as requiring spinal fusion. The point is, just because a doctor is called 'the top specialist in the country' it doesn't mean he's the best doctor in the country, or knows how to do anything other than cut. If you only have a hammer, every job requires a nail. A surgeon only has a scalpel...

Good for you
I am not thinking this doctor is all knowing, but I must do as he says despite some scepticism. He could be right. If I do as he says it may cause me some discomfort, worth it if it works, and won't kill me if it doesn't. Only way I can see to go at present.
