Same issue here, it doesn't happen just with sideloaded kepubs but with books bought from KOBO also. I too have Kobo Extended plug-in installed, no idea if the issue is related though. Sometimes I can get rid of the partially visible letters by checking/unchecking the "Hide header & footer " box and by moving the margin slider but the problem comes back after closing the book or switching off the Aura 6'.

Have you used the Web Browser? Have you dragged/moved a webpage?
Till 3.3.0., while dragging, the web browser performed a "fast" rendering so the device was quite responsive and at the same time you could more or less see the new web page contents. When and only you finished and released the drag action a full refresh was made.
But now, continuous full refreshes are done while you are dragging making the navigation a PITA.

Yup, browser is almost unusable. Not using it much anyways but it comes handy when looking up definitions not available in the dictionaries.
