oh, that one is my personal favorite !! especially when they get footage from something like a security camera, and there's a vague smudge off in the distance (down at the other end of the alley) that *might* be the bad guy,
running across the extreme edge of the camera's field, and they say "let me just clean that up for you" and the image is somehow transformed into a high-res perfectly focussed photo with no motion blur and not a single compression artifact. man, if only the photoshop "unsharp mask" worked like that !
