I can name a few things wrong with Windows 8.1

- no start menu
- worse privacy (forces you more or less to use a cloud live account, NSA is happy)
- for almost every app you have to flush your privacy (email address, live account, ...)
- advertising

I like Windows 7 but Windows 8(.1) is for consumers without aspirations and critical thinking.
