A little quick armchair legwork on the phone and I found the bookseller nearest me that had them in stock. Made a little drive, bought a Glo, went nearby and had a nice lunch while upgrading the firmware just in case there was an issue, and was reading before my steak sandwich was served. That place makes great steak sandwiches!

I'm not willing to make a 40 mile drive to look at something I may or may not want to buy. If the indie bookstore is close to a place I am going anyway, and I have time, I will stop in. I will be going down to the shoreline for a party in a couple of weeks and according to Kobo's website there is a bookstore down there that has their products. If I have time before the party, I will stop in and look, and possibly buy one...I don't have the time or gas money, however, to make the trip solely to look at the device.
