A few years ago, during cold weather, we kept experiencing internet outages in the mornings ... that 'cured' themselves by noon. I deduced an outside line/connection problem - that was icing up at night and thawing each morning. Time Warner insisted on replacing our cable modem .... over & over & over ... and then finally *BINGO* they climbed the light pole carrying our cable and found - a leaky connector that filled with condensed moisture & iced up every night.

While this morning outage ritual was occurring, I printed a lol cats picture of a frowning Persian cat with the caption "Yes, I know the interwebs is down. Sue me." - and taped it to my office door. I enjoyed that.
