I suspect a book can have multiple jackets (from difference sources maybe - publisher, seller, library manager etc), so maybe calibre convert will only act on the calibre jacket, IMO there should be an option to put them at the back of the book.

I wonder if the problem you have with Polish is related to the problems you have with using the 64bit version of calibre on Win8.

I'm not using the 64bit version. I installed it when I got my new laptop about 6 months ago & had problems with Calibre "hanging." Reverted back to 32bit after about 2 days. I known several other people say they had probs with 64bit also.
