The horse is bronze and never needs to be walked, exercised, nor have its stall mucked out. It's gilded as it's a Feng Shui talisman for the Year of the Horse, and it's rearing up, with it's hoofies resting on a pile of gold bullion, to bring wealth and prosperity into my wife's life... so I'll have more money to spend on toys. I thought this would be a good present.
I just cooked a lovely pork roast, with a brown sugar/cinnamon/clove/pineapple glaze, roasted sweet potatoes, and corn on the cob. THIS is the real present that we can share for our anniversary. She was drinking wine, I was/am drinking ice tea. In another hour or so we will retire to the couch for the end of Casablanca, a glass of Bombay Sapphire, and a cuddle!
(She don't need no puppy fer a cuddle! She gots me!)
