shot in the dark, if the books are epub or azw3 try running 64bit Polish book, with

- one of the books that does show a cover in 64bit viewer
- one of the books that does not show a cover in 64bit viewer
Now have a look at both books in both the 32bit and 64bit viewers
share the results - not sure what I expect or what different possibilities might mean
