Today, five weeks after picking up a fencing foil again for the first time in more than 25 years... today... today  I went UNDEFEATED! I whooped the Fencing Master 5-4. I walloped the Assistant Fencing Master 5-2. I absolutely trashed his daughter 5-0, and soundly trounced on every other fencer in the club! I... AM... BACK!
These were all foil matches. I didn't do nearly as well in epée. The Fencing Master beat me 5-3, and an Italian fellow named Marco beat me 5-4. I managed to win all my other epée bouts, but it was more reflex speed than thought-out skill. I've still go a ways to go before I'm ready for the Olympics...
BUT I AM BACK!
