I sprung for one of the Martha Stewart ones with lights a few years ago and love how easy it is to set up compared to the 6 foot one we had when I was a kid. It's smaller and goes on the round table in my living room so I don't have to worry about the dog trying to knock ornaments off.

I have 14 years worth of ornaments this is the first year I had a tree big enough to use all of them. Last year's tree was 6 foot this one is 7 foot!
It's also prelit just doesn't have a place to plug in the topper. The cats love it! They lay on the sofa and stare at it and if it's not lit they get upset and if I am sleeping they come upstairs and rattle the door wanting me to turn it on.
