I suspect that the bug isn't with that particular code, but with the new checkout page and
any single-use code is now "multi-use".
Also keep in mind that Kobo will likely eat the difference between the price you are charged and the price negotiated with the publisher, which was something like 60% of retail under Agency pricing.
