Of course Amazon does NOT sell stolen units. No one should buy them on eBay either. Purchasing stolen property is a felony in many states.
I really doubt even eBay would allow stolen property to be sold there. Something is wrong with the entire story.
Finally, trying to activate a stolen PW, would allow Amazon to report it to the police.
