In previous years we got sales numbers directly from Apple (e.g.
http://www.apple.com/pr/library/2011...r-Million.html ). Seems to me if this year is different that way then it will be a bad sign for sales. Regardless, there are analysts working quite hard to track Apple sales even if Apple doesn't spill the beans.
We'll see. How many people do you know who are buying 5C's? I know five people buying the 5S and none of them waited in lines today.
