Fellow anemiac (is that even a word??) here. I switched from regular non-stick skillets to cast iron a couple years ago, except for scrambled eggs. Never can get those darn things to not stick! But as you cook minute amounts of iron leeches into your food. Perfectly safe, and much easier on your tummy than iron tablets. It's not a cure all, but it can help. Also molasses is suppose to be iron rich. I like it on toast.
Isn't it amazing how our posts just wander from one topic to another?? One of the reasons I really like this forum, it's more like a bunch of friends chatting than a bunch of strangers.
