A very good point.

On a stock smartphone, the pleasure of reading is often interrupted by tasks which the smartphone's software brings to one's attention. Perhaps tablets are less like that (or perhaps your tablet's OS allows you to disable more automatic processes than my stock-OS'd phone does me).

Have you compared reading your PW to reading a physical book at the brink of bedtime? I'd compare reading physical and e-copies of Madame Bovary myself if the necessary changes in lighting were unlikely to keep a certain someone awake.
