I love those things. They're one of the best natural pest controls on the planet. Keep a few of them in the house and you'll never have to worry about roaches. I used to bring them in the house every time I found one outside, but the wife started claiming she was allergic to them. We used to have one who lived on our mailbox when the kids were kids. My daughter named it "Jumpy".

There's one aspect of their behavior that gives me a bit of a kick and somewhat puzzles me at the same time. You know how when put your face close to examine one they jump on your nose? Is that suppose to frighten you? Is it their way of saying, "Hi! Want to be friends?" Or do they assume they've landed the big one?
