IN Australia, we are WAY behind you guys with speed. Mine tops out at about 1-1.2MB up. We are getting a fibre service sooner or later which will improve things, but I won't be able to afford to pay for it, in fact, what I *could* afford on the fibre service will be slower than that which I currently get. My down speed is about 14MB (max at 24MB but my line quality prevents that)
Today, its 9.7 down and 1.1 up.
