This morning I finished up my read of The Cuckoo's Calling and I gotta' say that I felt that the story was extremely well thought out and I enjoyed it immensely. It's called Cormoran Strike #1 so I'm also looking forward to the next Cormoran Strike mystery. Three cheers for J.K. Rowling's second adult novel (which I wasn't able to say about her first one).

Next I'll be reading The Scarlet Slipper Mystery (Nancy Drew #32) by Carolyn Keene (Harriet Stratemeyer Adams) and Shadow Woman (Jane Whitefield #3) by Thomas Perry.

I finished reading both The Scarlet Slipper Mystery and Shadow Woman this morning and enjoyed both of them immensely!

I've decided to begin my third annual re-read of Jim Butcher's The Dresden Files series today. I had planned to begin this re-read a little closer to book 15 of the series, Skin Game's expected publication date of December 3rd 2013, but since I've noticed that my book consumption rate has slowed significantly as of late, I've started re-reading the first book of the series, Storm Front.
