well it's 5 o'clock here which if i'm not mistaken makes it 4 o'clock in london ; the meetup should be in full swing right now !! i can't wait to hear about it.

Truth is, I didn't know about eInk devices till a saw a Sony 500 while I was mindlessly wandering through the MicroCenter computer store back in early 2007; and me a self-respecting geek!

you are not the only one, cassidy ! i remember hearing about one of the very early devices (possibly the first cybook ?) about 10 years ago, in a magazine article. but i never heard more about it so i almost instantly forgot about it again. none of my friends had ever heard of them either. people in cafés who see me reading have never heard of them. the funny thing is, when i explain what a liseuse is for, they're almost always very enthusiastic. the interest is there, we just have to spread the word.
